TISAX Penetration Testing for Auto Suppliers

TISAX penetration testing shows an auto supplier where its IT security is weak, before a criminal or an auditor finds out. This page explains what TISAX is and why a penetration test is worth doing.

What is TISAX?

TISAX is the auto industry's shared way to check supplier security. It is not a law. When a customer asks for it, an audit provider reviews your security, and you share the result with that customer.

Why get a penetration test?

A penetration test is a hands-on attempt to break into your systems. A tester attacks your network the way a real criminal would. Here is what you get from it:

Will a pentest pass a TISAX assessment?

No test passes an assessment by itself. Your audit provider decides what evidence it needs, so ask early. A pentest report can be one piece of that evidence.
